Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 28 September 2026

1. Who we are

LukeMurray.Fit is a trading name of Luke Murray Enterprises Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.

  • Company number: 16062190
  • Registered office and trading address: 50 Aldwick Road, Bognor Regis, PO21 2PN
  • Email: info@lukemurray.fit

These Terms & Conditions apply to services supplied by LukeMurray.Fit to consumers.

2. About these Terms

These Terms apply to the services we provide, including the 30-Day Trial, rolling monthly Small Group Personal Training memberships, upfront memberships, shared memberships, 1:1 Personal Training, paid workshops and events, and separately purchased classes or services.

These Terms, together with the specific price, session allocation, membership type and other service details confirmed when you purchase, form the agreement between you and LukeMurray.Fit.

Specific prices and session allocations are therefore not listed in this document and will be confirmed before you purchase.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

3. Age requirement

Standard LukeMurray.Fit memberships and adult services are available to people aged 18 or over.

Any future youth programmes will operate separately and may have their own terms, consent requirements and parent or guardian arrangements.

4. 30-Day Trial

Our 30-Day Trial currently includes 9 Small Group Personal Training sessions.

The 30-day trial period begins on the date of your first training session, not the date you purchase the Trial.

Unused Trial credits will normally expire when the 30-day period ends. LukeMurray.Fit may extend or carry forward unused Trial credits where circumstances reasonably justify doing so.

The 30-Day Trial does not automatically renew or convert into an ongoing membership.

We normally arrange a check-in during the Trial to discuss what you would like to do afterwards. Discussing or indicating an intention to join an ongoing membership does not commit you to that membership before it is activated.

5. 30-Day Trial cooling-off period

You may cancel your 30-Day Trial within 14 days of purchase by emailing info@lukemurray.fit.

If you cancel within this period, you will receive a full refund and do not need to provide a reason, including where you have already attended sessions.

After this 14-day cooling-off period, Trial payments are normally non-refundable except where your statutory rights apply or LukeMurray.Fit agrees otherwise.

6. Rolling monthly memberships

Rolling monthly memberships renew automatically each month using the payment method held on your account.

Each member has an individual billing cycle based on their own renewal date rather than the calendar month.

Membership gives access to the full published timetable applicable to your membership but does not guarantee a place at any particular session, day or time.

Bookings remain subject to availability.

Monthly training credits normally expire at the end of the relevant billing period unless LukeMurray.Fit has specifically agreed otherwise.

7. Cancelling a rolling monthly membership

Rolling monthly memberships may be cancelled by giving one month’s notice by email to:

info@lukemurray.fit

The notice period begins when we receive your cancellation request.

Where the one-month notice period ends part-way through a billing period, the final payment will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis where possible. Where a full payment has already been collected, the appropriate unused portion of that final billing period will be refunded.

LukeMurray.Fit may waive some or all of the notice period where circumstances reasonably justify doing so. A discretionary waiver does not permanently change the standard cancellation terms.

8. Membership cooling-off period

Ongoing and upfront memberships receive a 14-day cooling-off period from the date the membership is activated.

You may cancel during this period by emailing info@lukemurray.fit and receive a full refund, including where you have already attended training sessions.

Where an ongoing membership has been discussed during a 30-Day Trial but has not yet been activated, you may change your mind before activation without charge.

These contractual rights are in addition to any statutory cancellation rights that apply.

9. Upfront memberships

LukeMurray.Fit may offer memberships paid in full for a defined period, such as 3, 6 or 12 months.

The exact number of training credits depends on the membership and training frequency selected when you purchase.

Credits purchased as part of an upfront membership do not expire.

This means you may continue using remaining credits after the nominal 3, 6 or 12-month period has passed.

After the 14-day cooling-off period, upfront membership payments are normally non-refundable if you decide to stop training, subject to your statutory rights and any discretion exercised by LukeMurray.Fit in exceptional circumstances.

10. Shared memberships

Some membership types may be set up as shared memberships.

Where a membership is shared, credits may only be used by the people currently named on that membership.

Named participants may be changed with LukeMurray.Fit’s agreement and once the membership record has been updated.

Credits must not otherwise be transferred, sold or given to another person without our agreement.

11. 1:1 Personal Training

1:1 Personal Training may operate through a recurring membership with a defined number of session credits per billing period.

Unless otherwise agreed, the general monthly membership rules regarding billing, cancellation, holds and credit expiry apply.

A 1:1 appointment must normally be cancelled at least 24 hours before its scheduled start time.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, and missed appointments without notice, will normally use the relevant session credit or be charged in full.

LukeMurray.Fit may waive this where circumstances reasonably justify doing so.

12. Booking Small Group Personal Training sessions

Membership provides access to the applicable published timetable but does not reserve a particular recurring time slot.

Small Group Personal Training bookings normally close 2 hours before the scheduled session start time.

After this cut-off, you may contact LukeMurray.Fit to ask whether you can attend.

Where at least one person is already booked, the session is therefore going ahead, and spare capacity remains, LukeMurray.Fit may allow you to attend after the booking cut-off.

Late attendance is not guaranteed and you should contact us before travelling.

13. Cancelling Small Group Personal Training sessions and no-shows

Small Group Personal Training bookings must normally be cancelled at least one hour before the scheduled start time.

If you cancel less than one hour before the session or do not attend, the session credit will normally be lost.

LukeMurray.Fit may use discretion where circumstances reasonably justify doing so.

14. Waitlists

Where a session is full, a waitlist may be available.

Joining a waitlist does not guarantee a place in the session.

You should only attend once your place has been confirmed or LukeMurray.Fit has otherwise confirmed that you can attend.

15. Late arrival

Sessions start at the scheduled time.

If you arrive late, you may normally join the session.

However, a coach may adapt or refuse your participation where they reasonably believe joining late would be unsafe or would significantly disrupt the session.

16. Sessions cancelled by LukeMurray.Fit

If LukeMurray.Fit cancels a session you were booked to attend, your session credit will be returned.

Where you cannot reasonably use the returned credit within the same billing period, that credit will be carried forward into the following billing period.

Where practical, we may also offer alternative sessions.

17. Temporary closures and timetable changes

We may occasionally need to alter or reduce the timetable or temporarily close because of illness, staffing issues, maintenance, holidays, emergencies or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where LukeMurray.Fit cancels a booked session, the same credit protections described above apply.

Short-term timetable changes do not automatically entitle a member to a full membership refund.

Where disruption becomes significant, LukeMurray.Fit may exercise discretion to find a fair solution.

18. Changes to coaches, timetable, format and location

LukeMurray.Fit may make reasonable operational changes to coaches, session times, timetable structure, session format or training location.

We will not use this right to materially reduce the core service you have purchased without good reason.

If we make a material change to the core service you signed up for and you wish to leave as a result, we will waive the usual one month’s cancellation notice period.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

19. Additional classes and community activities

Membership may from time to time include additional benefits such as classes, workshops, community activities, online sessions or other services.

These additional benefits may change, rotate, be replaced or occasionally be unavailable.

Unless specifically stated as part of the core package at purchase, membership does not guarantee the continued availability of any particular additional class or community activity indefinitely.

20. Membership holds

Memberships may normally be placed on hold for up to 30 days at a time, with a maximum of two holds in any 12-month period.

There is normally no charge for placing a membership on hold.

Holds must be arranged through LukeMurray.Fit.

During an approved hold, membership activity and billing are paused for the agreed period. Where a hold starts part-way through a billing period, TeamUp will normally adjust future billing to account for the held period.

The membership automatically resumes on the agreed restart date and normal billing and training access resume.

LukeMurray.Fit may exercise discretion in exceptional circumstances.

21. Failed or overdue payments

If a membership payment fails, our payment provider may automatically retry the payment and send payment reminders.

Training credits may still appear on your account on the normal billing date while a payment attempt remains outstanding. This does not waive the amount due.

If payment remains outstanding for 7 days, LukeMurray.Fit may suspend or cancel the membership.

Any amount that has already fallen due remains payable.

22. Price changes

LukeMurray.Fit may occasionally change membership prices.

Existing members will normally receive at least one month’s written notice before a price increase takes effect.

If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the new price takes effect without being required to continue at the increased price.

23. Workshops, events and separately purchased services

Unless different terms are clearly stated when you purchase, the following cancellation terms apply.

If you cancel more than 7 days before the workshop, event, class or service, you may receive a full refund.

If you cancel within 7 days, the payment will normally be non-refundable.

Your place may normally be transferred to another suitable person if you let LukeMurray.Fit know.

If LukeMurray.Fit cancels the event or service, you will receive a full refund.

Nothing in this section affects any statutory cancellation or refund rights that apply.

24. Health and safe participation

Exercise carries an inherent risk of injury.

Members are responsible for providing accurate information about their health and for keeping LukeMurray.Fit informed about relevant changes.

This includes injuries, illness, pregnancy, medication, medical conditions or anything else that could reasonably affect safe participation.

You must follow reasonable coaching and safety instructions and use equipment appropriately.

You should work within your abilities and tell a coach if something feels unsafe or if your circumstances change.

Where a coach reasonably believes there may be a health or safety concern, LukeMurray.Fit may ask you to obtain appropriate medical advice or clearance before continuing to train.

LukeMurray.Fit may stop or refuse participation where a coach reasonably believes continuing would be unsafe, including because of injury, illness, intoxication, unsafe behaviour or failure to follow reasonable coaching instructions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where the law does not permit us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

25. Behaviour and conduct

We want LukeMurray.Fit to remain a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.

Members must behave reasonably towards coaches, staff, contractors and other members.

LukeMurray.Fit may suspend or terminate a membership for serious or repeated misconduct, including abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or deliberately unsafe behaviour, intentional damage to property, inappropriate behaviour towards other people or repeated refusal to follow reasonable safety or conduct requirements.

Where the behaviour is sufficiently serious, suspension or termination may take effect immediately.

26. Refunds when LukeMurray.Fit terminates a membership

Where LukeMurray.Fit terminates a normal monthly membership, the unused portion of the current paid billing period will be refunded on a pro-rata basis based on the remaining unused days.

Where LukeMurray.Fit terminates an upfront membership, unused training credits will be refunded at the effective per-session rate paid when that upfront membership was purchased.

Sessions already used remain chargeable.

This does not prevent LukeMurray.Fit from pursuing compensation separately where a member has caused genuine loss or damage.

27. Permanent closure or withdrawal of a paid service

If LukeMurray.Fit permanently closes or permanently stops providing a service you have already paid for, we will refund the unused prepaid value fairly.

For an upfront membership, this will normally mean refunding unused credits at the original effective per-session rate.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

28. Personal belongings

Members are responsible for taking reasonable care of their personal belongings while attending LukeMurray.Fit.

We recommend that valuables are not left unattended.

Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility for loss or damage where the law does not allow us to do so.

29. Contact and payment information

Members are responsible for keeping their contact details and payment information accurate and up to date.

You should let LukeMurray.Fit know promptly where information relevant to your membership or safe participation changes.

30. Promotions and special offers

Discounts, introductory prices, promotions and special offers may have their own stated conditions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions do not apply retrospectively to purchases or memberships already agreed.

31. Discretion and one-off exceptions

LukeMurray.Fit aims to take a reasonable and human approach where circumstances justify flexibility.

If we waive a cancellation fee, extend a credit, shorten a notice period, permit an exception or otherwise depart from these Terms on one occasion, that does not create an ongoing entitlement or permanently change these Terms.

We will aim to apply discretion fairly and reasonably.

32. Events outside our reasonable control

LukeMurray.Fit will not be responsible for delay or disruption caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control, such as serious weather events, power failures, emergency building issues or other exceptional circumstances.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce disruption.

Where a session is cancelled, the credit protections elsewhere in these Terms continue to apply.

33. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us so that we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Complaints should normally be sent to:

info@lukemurray.fit

We will aim to deal with complaints fairly and promptly.

34. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal requirements, administrative changes or reasonable changes to the way LukeMurray.Fit operates.

Minor or administrative changes may be made when necessary.

Where a change materially affects an existing member’s rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable advance notice.

We will not use this provision to substantially reduce the service or impose significant unexpected obligations on existing members without giving reasonable notice.

35. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

36. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings elsewhere where applicable law permits.

39. Strong Foundations Challenge

Strong Foundations is delivered under the LMF Nutrition brand by Luke Murray Enterprises Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16062190; registered office and trading address: 50 Aldwick Road, Bognor Regis, PO21 2PN; email: info@lukemurray.fit).

Strong Foundations is an 8-week group nutrition and lifestyle coaching programme. The price, cohort start date, end date and any specific live-session dates applicable to a participant are those shown on the relevant Strong Foundations sales/checkout page at the time of purchase, and those cohort-specific details form part of the participant's contract with Luke Murray Enterprises Ltd. Payment is taken using the payment method shown on the relevant Strong Foundations sales or checkout page at the time of purchase.

The programme includes:

  • a physical printed workbook posted to the participant
  • access to a private Strong Foundations WhatsApp group
  • weekly nutrition/lifestyle education and practical actions
  • four live online coaching sessions during the eight-week programme
  • recordings and notes from those sessions
  • wellbeing/progress check-ins and support during the programme

Strong Foundations provides general nutrition, lifestyle and habit coaching. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment and is not a substitute for personalised medical advice.

Individual outcomes vary. We do not promise or guarantee weight loss, changes in measurements, treatment of symptoms, hormone balancing or any other specific health outcomes.

Participants remain responsible for seeking appropriate medical advice where needed.

Participant responsibilities

Participants are responsible for:

  • providing accurate contact and delivery information
  • behaving respectfully in the private group
  • not sharing copyrighted programme materials outside the programme without permission
  • understanding that other members of a WhatsApp group may be able to see their WhatsApp profile information or phone number

Programme changes

Luke Murray Enterprises Ltd may make reasonable changes to session timing, coaches or programme delivery where necessary.

Any material changes should be communicated to participants.

This must not remove or restrict statutory consumer rights.

Cancellation and refunds

Where Strong Foundations is purchased online, participants have the cancellation and other consumer rights that apply under UK law.

Cancellation before the programme starts

If a participant cancels before the published start date for their cohort, Luke Murray Enterprises Ltd will provide a full refund.

Cancellation after the programme starts

We are not offering an additional discretionary refund policy once the programme has started. This remains subject to the participant's statutory consumer rights.

Programme beginning during an applicable statutory cancellation period

Where the programme is due to begin while a participant still has an applicable statutory cancellation right, we ask the participant to expressly request that programme delivery begins on the published start date for their cohort.

If a participant subsequently exercises a statutory cancellation right after delivery has begun, they may, where legally applicable, be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied.

Starting the programme on the published start date does not automatically remove all statutory cancellation rights.

Physical workbook

Where a statutory cancellation right applies after the workbook has been dispatched or received, the return and refund position is as permitted by applicable UK consumer law. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Guarantee

There is no separate money-back guarantee or discretionary refund guarantee beyond the policy above and the participant's statutory consumer rights.

If a future cohort materially changes the programme structure, delivery method or inclusions, these Terms should be reviewed.
